What is TECCOPS?

That's a mouthful of words that describes something simple...

Our goal is to provide quality service in a professional, yet friendly personal way in order to diminish the intimidation of the complex computer world.

 

Small businesses and home users have benefited from the services of Tucker Engineering for the past several years (since 2001).  Tucker Engineering started as an Engineering Consulting business with CAD and other Design Engineering Services.  With over 20 years experience working with computers in education and in business the COPS division was formed.   Our staff has gained the knowledge that can not always be found in text books or a classroom.  Practical hands on experience with computer issues of all types that have helped preserve the life of many computers and minimized the headaches and heartaches of many business owners and families.  We have revitalized existing systems otherwise considered for the trash heap, recovered and preserved family photos, business files, and other electronic data once considered lost. We also have many custom built systems in use today.  We are a small company that can provide big relief.

Company history

TECCOPS is a division of Tucker Engineering Company (TEC).  TEC was a long time desire of the Owner and founder Sean Tucker and became official in 2001.  Sean's background is in Computers and Engineering.  Originally a student of Computer Science at the University Of Illinois, Sean changed majors and graduated from the University Of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991 with a Bachelor or Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  TEC was later formed to provide engineering consulting services to small companies who needed additional resources.  These services include CAD drafting and design utilizing many popular powerful Cad software programs.  A major portion of the work is done with computers.
